Instructions for easy play tower assembly

This detailed walkthrough will make it easier to assemble your playset. Using the SmartZone as an example, this page provides guidance for the best assembly technique in 10 bitesize videos.

The video gives an idea of what to expect when it comes to assembling Wickey playsets in general, as the playsets share some similar features such as the tower, slide, swing, and surf swing.

IMPORTANT: We recommend pre-drilling holes for every step to avoid splitting the wood during assembly.

Build your own play tower in easy-to-follow steps

1. Unboxing & Inventory

Unpack and check the components. Let the wood “breathe".

2. Main Frame Assembly

Put together the frame of the main play tower.
IMPORTANT: Remember to always pre-drill holes to avoid splitting the wood.

3. Tower Platform & Walls

Lay the floors and “walls” of the play tower.

4. Climbing Wall & Rope

Fit the panels and holds for the climbing wall, fix the climbing rope to that wall.

5. Monkey Bars & Second Frame

Assemble the second frame, fit the monkey bars, and attach them to the second frame.

6. Ladder & Climbing Wall

Fit the ladder for the monkey bars. Attach the panels and holds for the second climbing wall.

7. Basketball Hoop & Tarps

Attach the panels and tarpaulin for the basketball backboard and the shop. Attach the basketball hoop.

8. Climbing Net, Hammock, & Safety Grips

Attach the climbing net. Measure, cut and attach the tarpaulin for the hammock. Attach the safety grips.

9. Slide & Surf Swing

Attach the slide. Attach the swing beam. Build and attach the surf swing frame. Build the ladder and attach the grips.

10. Final Swings, Anchoring, & Flag

Build the surfboard. Attach the hammock on the “A” frame. Attach safety grips, swing seats, anchors, and flag. Stand back and let the kids enjoy.
